Update from 03.24.20
These times have been very challenging, uncertain, and constantly changing. It is important for all of us to remind ourselves that our God is from everlasting to everlasting and He is our Rock, our foundation, and our refuge. There’s a special message from Pastor Dan below.
SPECIAL CHURCH PRAYER TIME: We think it is very important for us to pray together. For this reason, we have set aside a special prayer time every Tuesday night from 7:00-8:00 p.m. You can CLICK HERE to join us or go to the church website homepage (www.calvarybristol.org) and click on the link, or if you are not able to join us online, pray at home with those who are there with you.

LIVE STREAM ON SUNDAYS: We want to strongly encourage you to join the LIVE STREAM on Sundays at 10:45 a.m. This is our time to meet together. Although we cannot meet in person it is important for all of us to make time to worship God, remember His goodness, listen to His Word, and to encourage one another. The link for the LIVE STREAM is on the church homepage.
OFFERINGS: Some of you had questions about how to give your offerings. The easiest way is to click on the “GIVE” tab on the church homepage. This will lead you to a secure site where you can make a donation. You may also choose to mail your gift to the church (250 Green Lane, Bristol, PA 19007).
Go to the Church Website to find UPDATES and IDEAS FOR YOUR FAMILY. The Church Office is currently closed as per the order by Gov. Wolf. If you have specific needs, you may email the church office at .
MESSAGE FROM PASTOR DAN:
Dear Calvary family,
Perhaps you have heard, Emily and I have returned home safely... We had a great time away together... Mostly restful... The growing black cloud of the virus impacted our trip, especially the last few days. Our time away was cut short by this international virus and we returned home as quickly as possible. Travel was a little challenging but God was so good and provided in wonderful ways. During the last day or so of our vacation I contracted a cold. The symptoms I have are different from those of the virus but out of an abundance of caution my doctor decided to have me tested. My cold symptoms are improving and we await the outcome of the test which will take several days. We have been maintaining a self-quarantine. Now, most of us are under government orders to remain at home. (Romans 13:1) We are writing to let you know that you are all in our prayers and we love you. In these changing days I find myself holding tightly to the words of Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever." While the world around us has no sure foundation for times such as these, we do. So plant your feet firmly on his grace and spread his love from your private quarters. Our mission of sharing his love and making disciples has not changed and it is not on pause. We love you and will see you in God's timing,
Pastor Dan (and Emily)

Brothers and sisters, in order to protect the treasured older members of our congregation we have decided to follow PA Governor, Tom Wolf's directive to limit large gatherings of people. We acknowledge that it is very important for us to gather as God's people (Hebrews 10:25) and we hope that this will be for a very limited period of time. We will keep you informed about decisions regarding future weeks.
At times like this we all can witness and experience the powerful grace that God provides to sustain us. Rather than worry, we can trust in God's purposes and know that nothing happens except through Him and by His will. As others around us worry and even panic, ask God to use you as a source of true hope and stability. Ask God for open doors to speak about the treasure that we have in Christ and the peace that he provides. Let your family, friends and neighbors know of the living hope that has come to us through Jesus' death and resurrection for us. Continue to encourage one another by using the wonderful technology that we possess.
I hope to "see you" on Sunday at the live stream at 10:45 a.m.
May the Lord bless you and keep you today,
